How to Apply to be a Seller

You can register your interest to sell with us by completing a short form. We will review your application and get back to you within two working days to let you know if you have been accepted and start working with you to get you registered and your shop set up.

Am I eligible?

You will be eligible to sell on Creatively Yorkshire if you are based in Yorkshire and your items are made by you or designed by you*.

*If you have to outsource some of the manufacturing of your product outside of Yorkshire, such as getting prints made of your original artwork or photography, that is fine, as long as the original artwork was created by you.

You may also be eligible if you are located outside Yorkshire if you have a strong connection to Yorkshire, for example:

  • You are Yorkshire born and bred and passionate about Yorkshire
  • You primarily use materials sourced from Yorkshire
  • Your work is about or inspired by Yorkshire (e.g. art depicting Yorkshire)

Will all sellers be accepted?

Not necessarily… While we hope to say yes to as many as possible, we are keen to ensure that our sellers meet our criteria and that they are the right fit for us.

How much does it cost to sell with Creatively Yorkshire ?

We do not charge any listing fees or transaction fees – there will be no hidden costs.

The only cost to you will be the commission charge on your sales and (if you choose a membership option) the membership fee. Depending on the option you go for, the commission on your sales will be between 6% and 10%.

You can start selling with us with no upfront costs by choosing the Non-member option. You will be able to upgrade at any time should you wish to.

Whatever option you choose, you will get your own shop area within the main site where you can add your own social media links, a logo/profile image and a banner, plus we will give you support to get your shop up and running.
